Gundy's World...
My Faith

Jesus Christ is my savior. Try letting him into your life, I promise you'll be amazed what can happen.

I love God, and he loves me, its that simple.

A side of me little known to many of my friends and family is my strong relationship with God. Some may criticize me for not being more foreward with this, but it is my strong beliefe that it is much more wise to show God to others by actively expressing his love to them through your own life; instead of "scaring them away from God" by being pushy with your beliefs.

If you ever feel an emptyness in your life, or have any questions or problems for which you cannot find solutions you will find all answers through Jesus. I highly encourage you to talk to someone whom you know to have a strong relationship with God (prefrebly trust) they will be more than happy to help you get on the right path. I firmly believe that everyone should follow their heart, and therefore should only seek God when they are ready to, but I promise as soon as you find him you will regret not doing so sooner.

Jesus Loves You

Inter Varstity Christian Fellowship, better known as simply "IV" is an interdenominational christian organization here on campus that I have become involved in duringmy two years of school here. In the past I have been leary about such groups because I have found the people involved in them to be pushy twards outsiders, and over zealous with their beliefs at times when they needn't be (which as I stated above, I find off-putting). I have found IVCF to be a wnderful organization because it consists of fun/nice people who enjoy socializing with each other and sharing God's love inderectly though their relationships with oneanother. They are very fun people to be with, but there is also the freedom to be able to express you feelings and beliefs knowing that you are surrounded by people who think similarly; no inhabitions or worries about offending someone who believes differently so it is very easy to grow in your relationship with God through the support of fellow christians. IVCF's mission statement decribes very well what the group is about, but since I don't believe in missoin statements, I refuse to print it here (if you would like to read it, or for more information about IVCF click the icon to the left to check out IV's web site). If you are a student at UMD or any college campus with an IV chapter and what I have just described sounds at all interesting to you I urge you to come check it out for yourself (I highly doubt that you will regret it). I know that I can always feel at home with IV, and it has already helped me grow deeper in my relationship with the Lord. I would like to take this oppertunity to thank some of my neighbors from freshman year- Chad, Tony, Dan, and Scott- for helping show me this great organization which has come to be a wonderful part of my life.
